Category Archives: Heirloom Sessions

Honored to be able to do this session for the Olson Family.  A beautiful family who brought along grands and dogs. Which always makes a session extra special. Their sweet girl Ava was recently diagnosed with DIPG – an aggressive type of brain tumor. My hope is that this session brings them joy and happiness. But my prayer is that we will all do more to bring awareness and funding to childhood cancer. Specifically brain tumors. You can read more about facts & ways to help here.

If you are looking for a way to give back this holiday season (or anytime) please consider donating to childhood cancer research. Team Noah at the Lurie Children’s Tribute program helps fund the immunotherapy research being done on brain tumors there. To learn more click here.
Also please consider the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at curethekids.org.

Other wonderful organizations (helping fund childhood cancer research) include:
Cals Angels
St. Jude’s
St. Baldricks

It’s been wonderful getting to know this sweet family over the last year or so. Thrilled to do not only their family photos, but to do some extended family shots with grandparents. Celebrating 50 years of marriage is quite an accomplishment. Blessed to take a small part in such a great occasion.
